Henry Wohlers was born
in Mahlenstorf, Hanover , Germany
25 Jun 1842. He came to the U.S. in 1872. The story is when
he got to LeCenter, MN, he asked if there was any work. The
people in town told him of a widow woman North of town. This
must have been after 1876, as Johann Ruehl died in Dec of
1875. The rest is history, he married the widow woman,
Margaret Moll Ruehl on 24 Apr 1887, and they had 5 children.
